A new clubhouse was designed for the Capital City Yacht Club to provide lounge areas, meeting rooms, and banqueting facilities for the membership. A grand portico with curved stone walls leads to a glazed entry featuring trophy display cases and a separate spacious cloak room. The banquet hall seats 200 and includes a dance floor, band alcove, and glazed french doors spilling onto a waterfront patio. Clerestory windows admit light from three sides into the central axis of the main hall. A natural material palette includes standing seam metal roof, stone cladding, timber columns and wood siding
