A clubhouse and visitor interpretive centre, this floating building for the Ladysmith Maritime Society is situated on its own wharf at Oyster Bay Marina. Extensive glazing and large overhangs engage with the wharfside providing a welcoming entrance and allowing gatherings to spill out onto the wharf. Sweeping rooflines and a combination of materials including natural wood and corrugated metal siding integrates the building with its recreational marine environment and makes it a focal point of the marina.
