SAWMILL POINT

SELKIRK WATERFRONT | VICTORIA BC | 2000

Sawmill Point is a 4800 sq.m. mixed commercial complex which includes offices, a restaurant, retail shops and a rowing/fitness club. The architecture is informed by the geometry of the site and the history of the former sawmill that was first opened in the 1860’s and was demolished in 1989. The main floor features a covered arcade leading to a public outdoor waterfront piazza. This point of land has become the area’s landmark and most significant public space.
