The de Hoog & Kierulf studio was founded in 2001 by principals Peter de Hoog and Charles Kierulf. Originally based at Mattick’s Market in Cordova Bay, the office moved to downtown Victoria in 2008 and the Nanaimo office opened in 2014. The studio name was changed to dHKarchitects in 2019.
In November 2021, dHKarchitects entered a new leadership era with Glenn Hill and Rob Whetter becoming partners alongside Charles Kierulf. Together they are committed to producing exceptional design.
As a full-service design firm, we offer architecture, master planning and urban design, and interior design. Over the years we've worked hard to build a reputation based on our ability to consistently deliver quality and value in the three project areas -- design quality and suitability, economic value, and timelines to completion. Thanks to our excellent and established consultant relationships, we are able to make every project a success.
With our projects spreading all across Vancouver Island, we have two office locations to accommodate our Clients needs. We have one office located in Downtown Victoria, and one office located in Nanaimo.
