    Responsibilities
    • Support senior architects and projects across both offices (no travel necessary)
    • Coordinate and track budgets, staffing, work plans and progress
    • Assist in the creation and submission of proposals, fee letters, and architectural contracts
    • Building permit and development permit application coordination
    • Establish and maintain project file structure
    • Communicate with clients, consultants, builders, municipalities
    • Construction phase document coordination including: RFI distribution and tracking; shop drawing coordination; site instructions, change orders, progress claims
    • Work independently with minimal supervision

    Education: Bachelors / Masters of Architecture and/or Architectural and Building Technology Diploma
    Experience: 3-5 years Canadian experience
    Accreditation: Intern AIBC or Architectural Technologist AIBC

    • BC Building Code, BC Energy Step Code
    • Wood frame construction detailing
    • Building envelope detailing
    • Graphic production, preparation of preliminary design imagery


    Responsibilities
    • Produce design and construction documentation and specifications
    • Work with minimal supervision both independently and as part of a team, often balancing multiple projects
    • Contract administration: Coordinate and review shop drawings and submittals, prepare site instructions, respond to RFI’s, administer change orders and perform field reviews
    • Coordinate/communicate directly with clients, consultants and City officials
    • Maintain and organize project records and filing consistent with office standards

    Experience: 10 years Canadian experience leading large projects at least $20M construction value
    Accreditation: Architect AIBC or Equivalent

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead designer and project manager for multiple concurrent projects, working both independently and heading up small internal teams
    • Translate Client/owner objectives into architectural design, continually tracking and updating project metrics.
    • Maintain existing client relationships and help build new ones
    • Responsible for the complete integration of all building systems and technical requirement with the architectural design
    • Establish project schedules and milestones and then deliver work on time and budget
    • Direct, organize, mentor, and inspire junior staff
    • Make presentations to clients, panels, community groups, and councils
    • Contract administration: Manage and coordinate shop drawings and submittal review, prepare site instructions, respond to RFI’s, administer change orders and perform field reviews
